Get to Know Me
Michael M. Bachmann was born in the town of Würzburg Germany. He spent the first two years of his life in the very small town of Rottendorf. After that he and his family moved to Southern California. Michael considers his family to be most important to him and is always thinking up fun songs, poems, and stories to make his wife Cheryl, two children, David and Nicole, and his “w”hole bunch of friends smile and laugh. Ridiculous Christmas stories are a favorite.
He has been telling stories for most of his life but he did not actually start writing short stories and poems for his family and friends until shortly after his kids were born. It was not until 2021 that he decided to turn his lifelong dream of publishing his works into a reality and share his talent with the world.
If you ask him who his favorite authors are, he would answer Dr. Seuss and Shel Sliverstein. To him, they are the standard by which all children’s poetry and stories should be measured.
He is a self-proclaimed dessert connoisseur- specializing in pie tasting with a minor in cinnamon rolls. With the help of his trusted Jeep that he named Cricket, he is an off-road adventure enthusiast. But most of all he is a dedicated father and a loving husband.
Michael invites his audience to Dream a Dream, Chase a Star, and learn How Fun it is to Fly but most importantly, he hopes you rediscover and befriend the inner child that lives within us all.
The Great Book of Stories and Things and All Matters of Things is his first published work.
